- Read the prompt once silently and once aloud before starting.

three safe sentences
Record three short sentences: who you are, whether you are safe, and one thing you need.
steps
- Use mi in every sentence.
- Include e niva or sha e niva.
- Use el nive for the need sentence.
self-check
- Each sentence is under six words.
- Every vowel is pronounced.
- Need is not confused with possession.
place ladder
Say five location sentences using noa, namnoa, lunnoa, kamnoa, and sannoa.
steps
- Start each sentence with mi en.
- Pause after each place word.
- Repeat the list once faster.
self-check
- The place word follows en.
- Stress stays on the first syllable.
- No extra English words enter the recording.
question turn
Ask three yes-no questions aloud, then answer each one yourself.
steps
- Use final ya in every question.
- Answer with sai or sha.
- Repeat one answer with a different pronoun.

- ya stays at the end.
- Answers are complete sentences.
- Pronouns are clear.

- Use yano once.
- Use el nive in both answers.
- Close with a practical offer using ma.
self-check
- Both partners ask and answer.
- The offer points toward the listener with li.
- The exchange reaches a clear end.
where question chain
Take turns asking where the other person is and answering with a place word.
steps
- Use yava or a yes-no en question.
- Change the place each round.
- Repeat one answer slowly for pronunciation.
self-check
- Each answer uses en.
- The place word is recoverable.
- Both partners complete three turns.
repair and repeat
One partner says a sentence too quickly. The other asks for a slower repeat in Kai.
steps
- Use Mi sha e miri.
- Use Ma lune rin-te al rin shal.
- Repeat the original sentence slowly.
self-check
- The repair is polite.
- The repeated sentence is slower.
- The listener confirms understanding or asks again.
