Status: creator checklist for the public-beta path

Kai should not call itself 1.0 merely because a file says 1.0. A usable language earns that number by surviving people who need it for things more interesting than filling out a spreadsheet.

Explicit non-gates

Kai does not need a social network, a proprietary app, Unicode approval, or a fictional claim of universal adoption to be useful. It needs clear source text, careful maintenance, speakers, and an honest account of what it can currently do.
