Legacy Learner-Course Lesson Audit
Status: audited
This audit maps the original 12 learner-course stubs in docs/learner_course/ to the newer professional online course structure. The old stubs remain useful as historical outlines, but their teaching role is now replaced by the course pages, practice sheets, readings, dialogues, assessments, and model-response pages under /courses/.
Audit Summary
- 12 legacy lesson stubs were reviewed.
- Every legacy topic has a current professional-course replacement.
- Lessons 01-06 are now covered mostly by Beginner Kai.
- Lessons 07-10 are split across Beginner, Everyday, Story, and Advanced Kai because the old sequence compressed too much grammar into single stubs.
- Lessons 11-12 are now specialized into Advanced Kai and Sacred Kai and Lumin.
- Next migration action: label the old
/lessons/pages as legacy or remove them after confirming no external links depend on them.

Pedagogical Notes
The legacy sequence taught the whole language as 12 short lessons. The professional structure is stronger because it separates four learner needs that should not be collapsed:
- beginner survival grammar,
- everyday interaction,
- story and memory grammar,
- advanced translation and register control,
- Sacred Kai and Lumin commentary.
The next roadmap item should either remove the old lesson pages or clearly label them as legacy pages with links to the replacements above.
